You can host an LGBTQ+ young person and the City will foot the bill!\n\n\n\nThe mayor's office is reaching out to ask employers for special consideration for a six-week placement of LGBTQ+ youth (ages 16-24)\, as part of the Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP).  Stipends are paid by the city\, and the positions can be remote\, in-person\, or hybrid.\n\n\n\nThis is the first year the City has added a specific LGBTQ+ initiative to the 60-year-old program\, called SYEP Pride\, and it's a great opportunity for you to provide meaningful employment experiences for LGBTQ+ youth.\n\n\n\nTo learn more\, visit nyc.gov/hireNYCyouth or contact Patrick Kwan\, the Mayor's LGBTQ+ Liaison.
